I thought it would be fun to start a thread based on your own holiday traditions.

For me.. Its not the holidays till I watch Home Alone 1, Home Alone 2, And the Grinch Who Stole Christmas....
 
I'm boycotting the holidays this year. Bah humbug!
 
I love to watch Scrooge the old version and the Holidays start with the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade!
 
Until I get all the outside decorations up and turn them on on Thanksgiving.




:nonod: Keep your Xmas boycots to yourself. People are depressed enough in the winter without your help :mmph:

What a coincident - This morning at about 5 am, one of our night watch guys was outside having a smoke and came back in with a story that Macaulay Culkin just walked by. I asked him (the watch guy) if he (Culkin) was drunk. He said, "yeah, he was drunk". :pound:




Oops - that might be depressing - sorrry!

He's probably anticipating seeing those movies again. Poor guy.
 
• until I steal the freshly baked x-mas cookies out of precocious’ kitchen
• until I steal the beer out of callmecrazybutt’s fridge.
• until I short out DanC’s x-mas display
• until I re-wire Choochoojr’s train set so that the freight train crashes head long into the passenger train.
• until the worm I embedded in the holiday PM I sent to spazntwitch activates and posts the “Cat – Free to any home” message on Craig’s List.
• until I add up gr8nrg’s home address to the White House x-mas card list.
• until I set-up the “It isn’t really x-mas unless you’re a Bosox fan” sign on JerryP’s front stoop.


And this is just the starters
 
Well, at least you have a holiday spirit, even if it is is an evil spirit.

For me, it starts with Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, and a piece of pumpkin pie!!! Then the day after Thanksgiving we go and cut down a tree and decorate it while watching "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation"


I have already started decorating so I am already in the Christmas mood.....and I can't wait to have a piece or two of pumpkin pie with a huge dollop of whipped cream :hungry:
 
Have you rolled the Christmas towels yet?
