It's time for me and "Grandmom" to pack up and make the ninety minute ride to go and bring my new Shih Tzu puppy, Jeb Stuart, on home! Haven't felt this nervous or anxious since I sat for my Boards! I "think" I am ready, but, honestly, my thoughts still revert back to my memories of my last baby dog who recently passed to heaven. Spent most of the morning "in the bathroom" (no explanantion necessary!) in a worried frenzy. Anyway Spoofee folks, I am asking that you all think some good thoughts for me, whispher a prayer or two, and, help me on my way!!!!!!! I would appreciate the same. When I can take some pictures of this new spit and vingegar of a rebel, I will happily post them to share my new bundle of joy! Thanks again to all! :) :wave:

Hi everyone!
I have tried twice to upload two different pics and they didn't work! Will try again this afternoon after his Vet visit.

Okay someone remind me just WHY I bought a dog?!?! LOL For the record, he pooped under the cocktail table, a true feat really! :claps: Will pee on his pee pads then walk off and pee on the floor! Cried allllllll night, so no sleep! Yeah of course he landed in his kennel first, then my bed, then I pushed him in the buggy, then Grandmom gave a whirl. Finally just left him out in the family room and he left me presents! LOL I am sucking fumes and frankly, loving every minute of it! He was good for oh, let's see two minutes of a groom this morning, that is progress. And forget the leash, hates it! I think I chose the right name for him! The real Major General Jeb Stuart was known for only sleeping twenty to thirty minutes at a time, was flamboyant, and, independent! RIght now the bugger is up here on my lap biting the keyboard. Ahhhhhhhhh puppy love, best kind there is! Thank God for the Steam Cleaner!

Thank you all so much for the well wishes. Hope he doesn't have a urinary tract infection or upper respiratory infection?:( Maybe I am just the panickly new Mommy! Shoot knowing me, I will call Johns Hopkins and demand an appointment! :rofl: He has really grown in the past three weeks too, and is a total chow hound, nothing delicate about Jeb! We will learn to "get along" admirably!! Jeb Jeb is sending all Spoofee members baby boy kisses! Be back later!

Rags - you sound in like you are in tired bliss right now! I bet he is SO cute though!!! Just hold on to those cute moments while you are cleaning poopy.

The first night we brought Luce home - and oh my goodness he was a big ball of furry love - he pooped THE biggest poop I have ever seen from any dog. It was bigger than his big black pointer head........and it was just the beginning of really big poops!

Seriously - congrats Rags - give ol' JS a big smoochie smoochie for me!

You know Blue, just like a baby, I think that Jeb has "his nights and days mixed up!" LOL He has the heart of an explorer and the drive of Indiana Jones!:) We were up until about three thirty before he settled down. Frankly, Jeb seems a bit tired, exhausted, quieter today. Of course my more "medial/scientific side" has morphed into overdrive, like the protective Mommy. I have had him having everything today from the ebola virus to radiation poisioning! :rofl: It hasn't dawned on me that the little guy is just pooped!

Decided against crating him in favor of the run of the family room and kitchen. Eventually we will "figure it all out" and go to run of the house, or close to it. Shucks, I am sunk if I get any grandbabies in the near future! I am totally feeling my age! Dinosaurs ain't got nuttin over me!;)

Couldn't figure out why my stomach hurt last night until I realized I had not eaten in almost forty hours! Yeah, okay right, and I wonder why I never go well on the quizzes?!?!?!
