okay so I went in there today after my run, only to leave horrified.

Jamba Juice has raised their prices YET AGAIN!!

Ah!

A wheatgrass shot costs $2/$3 (1 oz./2 oz.; it used to be $1.30/$2.00!!)!!

However, they introduced a few new smoothies, one is endorsed by Nike and I tried the other one today (too sour. i think its called fruit 'n fit)...

Now to my point...

They were offering BOGO on the new menu of the "functional smoothies"

I was going to post it in the hot deal section, but I want to make sure its not YMMV (even though they had what appeared to be corporate coupons up for grabs)

The point of this thread?

Can anyone else confirm the price changes? Can anyone else confirm the BOGO? Can anyone tell me why sherbert and juice costs $5? Rants, Raves? Complaints?

Wheatgrass is an acquired taste. It essentially tastes like your freshly mowed lawn. But its really good for you.
 
I have never been to a Jamba Juice, but it sure does sound good.
I could almost be craving it. ;)
 
The minimum wage has risen therefore the rest of us are having to pay higher prices to compensate for this.

I agree completely. I will tell you, the first time you drink it, it WILL taste exactly like your lawn. The very next time, or at least 2 times after that, it will taste SWEET. It's amazing hahaha.



As to the explanation as a response to gas prices, I'm not sure if they know gas prices are at the lowest they've been all year... complete bs. Also, they raised the prices once already because of min. wage, why do they keep raising them when the next wage hike is for January '08?! (at least in Cali)
 
Not around here...the lowest I paid for gas this year was $2.79 and that was back around March. Gas prices now are $3.10 or higher.

wow... i used to have to pay $3.65 in Anaheim Hills for the 89 gas in March, but now it's down to $2.95-ish!! Ya win some, ya lose some, I suppose.


Anyone see any bogo coupons when you went there?
 
I love wheatgrass from Jamba Juice. It's been a while. I may have to go in on Monday to get some...and report prices back to you too.

How long does it take to acquire? I've been trying for years, and still hate the stuff.
 
I just had an orange. It was very tasty.
For some reason "Jamba Juice" makes me want oranges.

they have GOOD oranges there...

...even if they charge an extra $.50 for anything containing oranges (its called a 'brr charge')

they find the sneakiest ways to steal your money!!

as for checking the prices, thanks so much spaz!!

and btw for those who do not know, wheatgrass is amazing
those not in the know should check it out for a week and tell me you see no difference!!

I feel so clean!! (or maybe its a placebo effect)

argh, with jamba, i wouldn't be surprised!
