Hey Daredevil....did the storm affect you?

Anyone else here a Kentuckian? :shhh: or at least anyone who is willing to admit being near Kentucky?

my initials used to by "KY" but most people thought of something else first..........:lost:

Lets see....lost power monday night...had to stay at my brother's house 10 miles away, who also had no power, but had a wood burning stove...we kept warm....
Lost 3 days work....got to work on Friday with a ride.
Dug my truck out of the ice on Sat....
Would have done that before except my street was blocked on both ends, one by fallen
branches, the other side by fallen power lines..
Oh, got power back on about 3 p.m.friday afternoon
Other than that, we're fine...............now.
brother's power came back on Sunday.

Picture is my back yard on Tues. morning

All those years ago (in college) I dated a girl from Kentucky whose last name was Daniels. I still cry when I think about what I gave up.

i'm glad to hear you are ok Daredevil. I guess I should be thankful I don't live in an area that has large snowstorms.. although we are preparing for a huge earthquake ..

Hi My son just moved down there in Dec and we usually get that weather here in IN but not them. His electricity & heat is out so he spent some time with his bosses grandparents house, now he's with another coworker since it's still out. I hope it comes back on soon!

Daredevil I am glad you are ok.My mom and dad were driving through Kentucky from Michigan going South and West towards Texas and my mom says driving was scary. She was very nervous.
The photo is beautiful. But I am glad I don't live in snowy states.

diGriz.....in regards to the "Daniels" girl from KY that you dated....wrong state.Think Tennessee...where again it has been snowing.

What do kinky ice cream and Kentucky jelly have to do with ice storms?

Check the birth records in early October.
