i'm trying to buy one for my treo650. but i heard that when i buy a gig, i'd need to buy memory with fast-speed. anyone know what the speed of this one is?
 
Toshiba sucks...

Toshiba cards are the slowest cards at writing. I cant even record voice memos directly to the card using my Tungsten T3 without it ending up a garbled mess. The fastest cards are the Panasonic cards.. but they are also the most expenssive. it takes the toshiba card 10 minutes to trasnfer a voice memo from internal ram to SD storage while it takes 2 minutes for my Panasonic card to do the same job. I bought a 512mb Viking SD card for $25 and it ended up being a toshiba card. Toshiba cards have an okay read speed its just their write speed that really sucks. I bought my girlfriend a 256mb Kingston card and it ended up being a Toshiba. I guess rule of thumb is if its cheap it most likely will end up being toshiba...
