They are talking about using a debit/credit gift card, basically a card with a set limit of money on it that is not really tied to you in any way.

They're not talking about "gift cards"

What they mean by "GC" is "Google Checkout" which offers first time users a $10 off instant credit which makes a vast array of items free when all is done.

Where do you subscribe for the $10 credit? I've tried in the past and never found any reference to it on the Google Checkout website.

Really, how did you do that. I thought it was $10 with shipping?
 
has anyone received theirs? Mine still says that the carrier received info as the only update. The fedex site has no record of the shipment...
