I think this must be another "pricing error" that has already been pulled. The link provided does not work & a search on buy.com's site doesn't show any Lexar USB drives over 512MB. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

BTW, the picture is correct, but the description should be "Jump Drive" and not "Flash Card"

this was at 7:26pm 10/7/04

It was weird though, the page spoofee brought me to looked normal, but when i clicked "Buy" it simply reloaded the page that i was already on. i got the "unavailable" message after i added the item to my wishlist.
 
Try the link at the top of this discussion list. I just did at 7:53 pm Eastern time and it took me to the item. I clicked on Buy Now and I could have bought it (wished I could buy two!).
 
Free shipping?

Why does the initial post say free shipping? When I goto buy.com's website and place the order, it shows 5$ for ground shipping? It says that same thing for the USB drive and I am sure that shipping ain't free there either. Am I doing something wrong?

There IS a charge for the default shipping method. YOU have to change it to the "5 to 9 day" shipping - which is FREE.
 
I don't see the 5-9 day shipping. The longest I see is 3-5 days. I looked everywhere and nothing higher than 3-5 days. :(
 
It won't let me use the $10 coupon. It says:

* You are not eligible for this coupon, or you have already used it. The coupon will be removed from your basket.

I wasn't goig to buy it for $50, but for $40, I couldn't resist. Crap!

A 5 dollar off coupon for new customers worked for me but still no free shipping. The drive is ugly, I'm not paying over 40 bucks for it especially with that tax :28:
 
The site says "In Stock Soon" for the jump drive. Can you still place an order for it if it's not currently in stock? And if you can, will the purchase date on the receipt be today's date or the date it actually ships since they don't usually charge your CC until it ships?

Right where the shipping charges show up, in the middle of the page and right above where the default "Standard Shipping" is selected there is a choice of "7 to 9 days" which is the free one.

To BethiPoo, I just went through the buy process at 2:20 pm EST and it shows that stock is available.
 
I'm at Irvine, California, and the free shipping option is not available for me, which is really gay. I've been wanting a flash drive for the longest time ~_~, I couldn't resist and just purchased it with the 5% off because for some reason the 5 dollars off wasn't working anymore. Buy.com sucks. With tax and shipping it was 87 something not including MIR.
 
Definitely no free shipping for me (NY)... the 5-9 days or whatever is simply not listed. I'll give a call to see what's up. BTW I'm buying both. I paid $40 for a 256 card..... You bet your ass I'll pay $100 for a 1g SD card & 1g Flash drive. I'm happy
 
OK.....just got off the phone w/ them. The SD card does NOT qualify for free shipping. Any order that includes the SD card will not qualify either. Spoofee, pls update the main page.

I ordered the SD card yesterday and qualified for free budget shipping. My order also included the flash drive.

The order has not yet been shipped, however, my receipt clearly shows that I was not charged for budget shipping.
