Linksys Wireless-B Router + Wireless USB Adapter for Free + Make $5

BestBuy has deals on Linksys Wireless Products until Saturday, 7/9/05. There is a 10% off Coupon available valid until 7/4/05 for in-store purchases, but the coupon states "Not good in combination with any other coupons or offers." So, it may or may not work for items with rebate offers.

Update : The online offer's sold out, but you can get it for the same price if you use this 10% off coupon good for in-store purchases. It's best to call your local Bestbuy to see if they have them in stock first.

I'm wondering about the possible original UPC requirement for the mfr rebates. My local BestBuy store (#288) still had plenty on the shelves Sunday afternoon, so I bought the USB adapter (WUSB11).

For the Linksys mfr rebate (offer # 59450) form, the Proof Of Purchase Requirements only lists "This Rebate Form" and "Copy of Receipt" while in the Terms and Conditions it reads "All documents including the original UPC become property of Linksys...." This page from Linksys also indicates a required original UPC for their rebates in general.

Finally, I had already bought the same item during last Friday's CompUSA Midnight Madness sale and that Linksys mfr rebate form ( same address Dept. WB50119, POB 42932, Mesa, AZ 85274-2943 ) does indeed require an original UPC. I'll try to get cust. svc. to confirm ( 1-888-226-8092 ) when they re-open....

Yup, that $30 Linksys rebate does require an original UPC. I'll update the first post to reflect that =)

Hope you didn't already submit the Linksys rebate. The form does say that up to ten items is permitted per rebate, but it also states that "To receive your rebate by mail, please mail the following in one envelope"

also, it requires a "Copy or original store identified dated sales receipt" - not receipts. that makes me wonder if you're allowed to purchase the items from more than one store & still qualify for the rebate.

in any case, you should probably hold off on cutting off the UPC's from the boxes until you're able to get a hold of the Linksys rebate customer service center.

good luck!

update:
Oops my bad - I just caught the Best Buy fine print which basically says "online rebate forms for online purchases only; in-store forms for in-store purchases only" and then couldn't find a way to edit the previous post...

Thanks for your advice!

I have a follow-up about a possible 3rd rebate: The Best Buy form you link to above (Rebate #1) is offer number 59340 for $25, while one of the in-store cash register printed forms I got today was for Best Buy offer 58798 for $20.

Both go to Calais, ME although to different PO Boxes:
POB 8200 ( zipcode 04619-8205 ) for offer 59340,
POB 7800 ( zip code 04619-7972 ) for offer 58798.
There's no URL ( that I could find ) for offer 58798 (the one printed at the cash register) on bestbuy's site.

So anyway perhaps it's possible to submit for both rebates from Best Buy, plus the Linksys one and make $20. I'll eventually try it but without getting my hopes up.

Multiple rebates worked out well for me (thanks, thanks, thanks Spoofee members!!!) for a previous linksys deal, http://www.spoofee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19014 so I'm hoping it will this time as well.
