After a $30 mail-in rebate and $50 instant rebate, CompUSA.com has the Lite-On LW-5001 Stand-Alone DVD Recorder for $250. This is one of the cheapest DVD recorders around. It is only available for delivery, and not in-store pickup. It will record onto DVD+R and DVD+RW discs.
