Logitech G25 USB Racing Wheel for $221.98 Shipped

Wow, I didn't realize these kind of peripherals ran for that kind of money. Glad I'm not into car racing games.
 
They don't normally. I think what makes this one more expensive is the shifter cluster that can do full H gate shifting as well as just front to back shifting.
 
i have one of these and a seat i made from pvc. this and a breathalyzer is the most fun you can have with some buddies seeing who can set the best drunk driving laps in gt5p.

I dunno about you, but my friends and I are pretty terrible at car racing games even w/o alcohol. :P

I've always vaguely wanted this wheel but I've never been able to justify it. Even at this big discounted price (I think it's normally $300) I can't make myself buy it...
 
Got one a while back for 300 bucks. I think it'll be worth it for hardcore racing game players. Certainly not made for Need for Speed series (except Porsche Unleashed XD). Some sims require a good wheel for you to drive properly, and this is the most widely supported wheel, even works with consoles :)
 
yea its one of the few (and the only one in this price range) with a clutch and proper shifter which really helps. pair it with the pc game live for speed and you cant have more realistic fun anywhere other than the real thing.
