When you say "right side under "Amazon.com"" it says (for me) "TigerDirect Price" $61.99...

No Amazon.com Price like it usually does...

Does the rebate still apply?

I read it and the first thing stated is:

Is this sourcing the same as buying from Amazon?

Or more to the point. Does this invalidate the rebate?

That would be buying from Tigerdirect thru Amazon. You don't want to do that. The rebate will not work for that purchase. Try this link and see if it takes you to the proper page. The page may look funny but that's because I had to use the cached version to see the amazon.com deal.

*Update...Oh no, I added it to my cart and it only will save it saying it's no longer available from this seller. :( The deal may be dead...but perhaps it will come back in stock before the rebate purchase time passes. Good luck!

G7 is back in stock. Not sure about validity of the rebate since it's from TD, however. :confused:

As far as I have read, you can ONLY purchase through Amazon, not the resellers, because if you order it from TD, you will get a TD Invoice/Packing Slip instead of an Amazon Invoice/Packing List, so, If you want the rebate to work, you will ned to buy it through Amazon, from Amazon.
