Logitech Harmony 550 Universal Remote for $49.99 Shipped

I got this remote and I LOVE IT, easy to program.

I have a PS2 multi-tap/4x A/V box that came with a remote. I only used the remote for one thing, changing the input. The presets had nothing for this remote. This is a learning remote, point the old remote to this one and it learns the commands.

it also has Activities you can set a series of events to happen. For example, I have with one push of a button, it Turns on the TV, then the DVR, then the Reciver on for Surround on. Then I push another button, it changes the TV to input 3, turns on the DVD and then changes the receiver to the DVD input.

I give it a 5 out of 5, well worth the price. The software is easy to use, it has most brands in there lists and then downloads what ever else you need. The is WAY better then all those annoying number codes for those other remotes.

I figured I share my thoughts on this remote ... if anyone has questions about this remote, I will check back here a few times or IM me.

Amazon is showing the price as $85.37. The deal might have been an error or it only lasted a short time.

I checked again today and the deal is back. I don't know what was up originally but it is good to go.
 
I picked up the 880 when amazon had the $99 sale, the remote works awesome! My Mom's 670 remote works great too, and the internet setup is simple and doesn't take long at all to setup a handful of devices.
