The generic one im looking at has a lifetime warranty on it. Im just saying how much of a difference will i see in generic and name brands? Will there be noticeable difference. Its just memory

well depends.. if ur over clocking..which i dont think u are/will coz u wont be asking ur Q..

so as i said.,. yes in the long run..brand names are more realiable..

depends on how much u wanna spend $

im also looking for some cheaper ddr mem. Specifically 512 mb pc3200 ddr ram. that also supports DDR400. My mobo supports it and i am currently running 512 of kingston. That ran me about 109 and i need something a little cheaper that would be compatible. Help would be appreciated. I'm also looking at pricewatch/newegg and a few other places.

See my Centon Post in Hot Deals, $20MIR apply to 3200 also
