Looking for: Comcast Digital Cable deals

I'm pretty sure I saw a deal recently for free cable for 6 months, and I know Comcast is always running specials for $29.99 or similar for digital cable. Anyone know of anything like this? $62/mo for regular cable seems ridiculous!

I am NOT looking for Internet deals, just cable deals.

You should be able to get something good being a new Comcast customer. Where to go, I have no idea.

However, I'm an existing Comcast customer looking to upgrade to digital, and I was able to get a great offer through the retentions department, but I haven't taken them up on it yet.

That doesn't do much good for you however as you're a new customer. However, I have heard of the $29.99 deal, but I think it does vary a lot depending on your location. Marketing is done differently throughout the country.

I'm also a current Comcast subscriber thinking about upgrading to digital.

What deal did you get? How did you broach the subject with Comcast?
 
if you call and threaten you go to satelite, they will give some free stuff, I am getting all of th movie chanels free for a year. You should try it.

I live just outside Philadelphia. I currently have analog cable with HBO, and high speed internet.

I want to upgrade to digital. Two high definition boxes, one standard, no DVR. They gave me $95 a month for 6 months, my current cable bill is around $113 a month. After that, it's about $135 a month.

Retentions gave me this deal, I never took them up on it.
 
I have the digital silver package , and HBO , i also have 1 dvr and an extra cable box . I also have the high speed conection with that.

My total bill is 98 a month. Just call up comcast talk to the sales team , say a friend of yours got (make up a deal) and you want it too.

If he says no , disconnect and call back and talk to the next guy. To make it sound better say you have dish and thats how much they are charging but you are not too happy.

They will cut off their left nut to take a customer away from dish
 
I work for Comcast and the rates for Comcast Cable Services, varies from state to state, but to get Locals only is running 15.95, that is your main News stations, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS and one more, Basic Cable is running for 29.95 Channels 1-60 and that includes Channel 1 Video On Demand VOD which is free movies, Digial Premier is running about 52.00 and up and those are specials. Rememer Comcast bills for a month in advance as well, charges for install fees, connect fees. and the 1 box is free all Additional Outles A/O. And all that is COD, but the regular bill will come regular mail. Call 1-800-Comcast for your local service provider.
