Yeah, there's a $20 coupon that we can use I believe, which would make this deal even hoter. Also it's

$150 sale price - $40 - $30 - $15 = $65

or with the $20 off instead

$150 sale price - $40 - $30 - $20 = $60

not bad for a 160 GB drive.
 
One thing I can say about shopping the Spoofee way. It created a new part time job at our house. Tracking/managing rebates. Unbelievable!

Can someone send me an office depot coupon code that would work with "technology" items? None I found would work with this drive.

I just check all the codes, they don't seem to apply to tech. items. So i guess only the $15 will work.

Still no working coupons? I've been trying to get 1 hard drive...any hard drive...at Black Friday prices. I was sadly disappointed this year by the hard drive deals.

Yes, I did see that one. Unfortunately, by the time I made it down there they were gone. Fry's also had a 160 GB hard drive for 59.99 after rebates....with 2 $50 dollar rebates. If you ever dealt with Fry's rebates, you know 100 dollars in rebates from Fry's means $100 you may never see again. I finally received a $50 dollar rebate from them (RebatesHQ) at the beginning of summer after making about 6 calls to their center from the prior Black Friday (2002). Luckily, I had made copies of every single thing I submitted to them, including the postmark. So there was no way I was going in on the Fry's deal.

Okay...I was ready to buy this HD at Office Depot, then I tried all of the cuoupons (which don't work). So then I check in here and see the Staples reference. $20 cheaper over there AND $30 rebate! I was bummed that I couldn't get BOTH the rebates.

Then....I noticed on the Office Depot rebate....

COPY of the UPC....

COPY of the sales reciept....

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? I've got $150 to play with for an hour... and I have access to a copy machine....

Do I do it? Would you?



No, I didn't, but trust me, it wasn't because of my ethics...it was because of the time (10:45PM) when I discovered this.... I would have spent a lot more time thinking about if I should or shouldn't..
