Maxtor 160GB Ultra 8MB Cache hard drive for $69.97 NO REBATES

Maxtor 160GB Ultra 8MB Cache hard drive for $149.97 and with coupon 38129876 ($80 off), the price drops to $69.97 + Tx. Shipping is free with them. This hard drive is item #447679.

www.officedepot.com

Coupon valid through 3/20

I was messing around w/ different zip codes and I entered 44545 and it allowed me to add a drive to my cart. I checked @ USPS.com and looked up that zip. It's not a valid zip though, but it shouldn't matter, because when you fill in your info you have it billed/shipped to your correct address and zip.

This wasn't my first deal .. but it is my first post

I got two of these babies from the same store ..i had to drive an hour and a half to get to somewhere that had them in stock

also ..here's a trick that lets you buy

Once you find where they are in stock. Get it all setup in your basket ..and then click register and go through all that to register and click start shopping. Your basket should still be right ..and it won't give you the error message you get if you try and pay directly .. good luck and thanks for the deal

I backorder it with the coupon. Will this still work evern though the coupon expires today? Thanks.

I spoke with a customer service rep saturday morning ..and she had said the coupon won't work with back orders

the deal doesn't work

I was so piss today, because I have order one for store pickup. The manager there told me that they couldn't do it because people are using the fake code. In order for store pickup you have to print some kind of coupon out. So I told him I have ordered by credit card and ask him what I can do, he didn't even try to help and just give me the stupid 800 number .....

I have ordered stuff online for in-store pickup. Never had a problem, never needed the coupon and never had to argue with anyone. When you order online for in-store pickup all you should have to do is go and sign for and pickup your order. Not sure why they are giving you such a hard time.

It depends on the store manager. We have 2 stores around here, and I have been treated differently at each one. I had an online rep check both stores for availability on a deal I saw on spoofee a few weeks back. Was in stock at both stores and was told that both would put the item on hold for 24 hours for me, but one store would match the online deal, and the other would not. Might be related to that particular stores sales performance, or maybe just an individuals ego. Who knows.

You should not have to call CS to hold for in-store pick-up. You can order everything online and choose to either have it delivered or picked up in store. If you choose in-store pick-up you can normally pick it up within 3 hours after you place the order. You pay for everything online and when you pick-up your items they don't even care about any discounts because you already paid for the items. You just have to sign a receipt stating you received items and be done with it.

Allow me to clarify my previous post.....in my case the item was showing out of stock when ordering online.
