I wouldn't even buy this if it was free with instant rebate, i.e. they handed it to me for nothing. From my experience, this and Norton have nothing to offer but bloated software with an expiration date.

Please correct me if you believe my opinion is out of line from your experience.

I prefer AVG myself. Small install, free edition online, easy maintenance and options...actually, I think I've been using their AVG Free on this laptop for a year or two now without a hitch.

I used to use Sophos (which I am a huge fan of), but AVG has a more easily-updated virus database, IMO.
 
AVG is great!

Trouble free and also, well.....FREE!

Nice not to again have to bow to Microshaft...

While I was on vacation someone got a virus on my computer and the boss could not get rid of it, so he called our computer guy and he installed AVG and it fixed it, nuff said ..........
