Period 1 Prize: A trip to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, New York for the winner and one (1) guest September 2007. Trip includes: round-trip coach airfare for two (2) (from major airport near winner's physical place of residence at time of entry as chosen by the Sponsor), two (2) nights hotel accommodations at a hotel (hotel to be determined at the discretion of Sponsor; one (1) double occupancy room does not include meals, room service, or other incidentals), two (2) tickets to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (fashion show(s), date(s), location(s) of show(s), and seating are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor), two (2) tickets to a Broadway show (show, date of show, location of show, and seating are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor), Mercedes-Benz S-Class car with chauffeur from 12:00 p.m. ET to 12:00 a.m. ET each day for duration of stay in New York (make and model of vehicle to be determined at the discretion of the Sponsor), dinner for two (2) (to be awarded in the form of $300 spending cash), $1,000 Saks Fifth Avenue shopping spree with a personal shopper for winner only (personal shopper arrangements to be determined solely by the Sponsor), and ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel for both winner and travel companion. The Approximate Retail Value ("A.R.V.") of Prize Period 1 goods and services is $6,660. Period 1 Prize Winner will also receive a single cash payment of $3,430.91 in the form of a corporate check, based on a 34% tax rate which is intended to assist with any federal or state tax obligations related to the Period 1 Prize. Any additional tax obligation that the winner may be liable for is the sole responsibility of the winner. Period 1 Prize winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local income taxes and other taxes associated with the prize. MBUSA will comply with all tax reporting requirements. The total A.R.V. of Period 1 Prize is $10,090.91. Actual value of prize may vary based on point of origination and airfare fluctuations. Period 1 Prize winner and travel companion must room together and travel together from the same airport, as well as possess required travel documents (e.g. valid government-issued photo ID) prior to departure. Period 1 Prize winner's travel companion must be 21 years of age or older. Period 1 Prize winner must plan trip with Sponsor and travel during September 2007. Travel dates and arrangements are to be determined and are subject to availability and some restrictions may apply. If winner is unable to complete trip on the dates selected by the Sponsor, the winner shall forfeit the prize in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected, time permitting. Period 1 Prize winner is responsible for meals, taxes, gratuities, other ground transportation, and all other expenses not expressly specified herein.
Period 2 Prize: A ski vacation to Vail, Colorado for the winner and one (1) guest. Trip includes: round-trip coach airfare for two (2) (from major airport near winner's physical place of residence at time of entry as chosen by the Sponsor), two (2) nights hotel accommodations at The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch on Beaver Creek Mountain (hotel to be determined at the discretion of Sponsor; one (1) double occupancy room does not include meals, room service, or other incidentals), two (2) multi-day lift tickets (ski resort(s), location(s), and date(s)are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor), one (1) day of private ski instruction for winner and travel companion (ski resort(s), location(s), date(s), and private ski lesson arrangements are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor); use of Mercedes-Benz vehicle for duration of stay in Vail (make and model of vehicle to be determined at the discretion of the Sponsor), dinner for two (2) (to be awarded in the form of $300 spending cash), ski equipment for winner only, including skis, boots, and poles (makes and models of equipment to be determined at the discretion of the Sponsor), and ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel for both winner and travel companion. The A.R.V. of Prize Period 2 goods and services is $8,160. Period 2 Prize Winner will also receive a single cash payment of $4,203.64 in the form of a corporate check, based on a 34% tax rate which is intended to assist with any federal or state tax obligations related to the Period 2 Prize. Any additional tax obligation that the winner may be liable for is the sole responsibility of the winner. Period 2 Prize Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local income taxes and other taxes associated with the prize. MBUSA will comply with all tax reporting requirements. The total A.R.V. of Period 2 Prize is $12,363.64. Actual value of prize may vary based on point of origination and airfare fluctuations. Period 2 Prize Winner must have a valid driver's license, and satisfy applicable proof-of-insurance laws for operation of the vehicle portion of the prize, as well as pick up and return the vehicle at a location designated by the Sponsor. Period 2 Prize winner and travel companion must room together and travel together from the same airport, as well as possess required travel documents (e.g. valid government-issued photo ID) prior to departure. Period 2 Prize winner's travel companion must be 21 years of age or older. Period 2 Prize Winner must contact Sponsor and/or GMR at least eight (8) weeks prior to desired dates of travel. Period 2 Prize Winner must plan trip with Sponsor and travel during the 2007-2008 ski season between November 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008. Trip must be completed before March 31, 2008, or the winner shall forfeit the prize in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected, time permitting. Travel dates and arrangements are to be determined and are subject to availability and some restrictions may apply. Period 2 Prize winner is responsible for meals, taxes, gratuities, other ground transportation, and all other expenses not expressly specified herein.
Period 3 Prize: A 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sport Sedan. Period 3 Prize includes one (1) 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sport Sedan. Make and models for all components of Period 3 Prize to be selected solely by Sponsor. Vehicle packages, interior and exterior colors to be selected solely by the Sponsor. Period 3 Prize does NOT include as part of the prize vehicle options, taxes, fees, title costs, registration, and insurance. Vehicle awarded to a California, Massachusetts, New York, or Vermont resident will include required emissions equipment. Period 3 Prize winner must have a valid driver's license, and satisfy applicable proof-of-insurance laws to take delivery of Prize, as well as take delivery at a location designated by the Sponsor. The Sponsor will not provide any additional verbal or written warranties other than the standard written warranty statement provided with the vehicle. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a vehicle for the Period 3 Prize of the same approximate retail value. Period 3 Prize consists only of items specifically listed as part of the prize and does not include installation, companion accessories, software, or programs. Any and all guarantees and warranties for merchandise prizes are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty or guarantee claim. Certain conditions and restrictions apply. No additional cash payment is included. The A.R.V. for Period 3 Prize is $35,725.
The total ARV for all prizes is $58,179.55.
