That's like saying a Ford Taurus is better than a Bugatti Veyron. Just because Ford has sold more Tauruses doesn't make it a better car.

I know I should have said "IMHO Zune's are better", but I am speaking from first-hand experience. My wife and oldest daughter have iPods because of the iPod's status and popularity, but I'm the one who has to fight loading music on it and reset the iPods all the time because the problems with them.

FYI I've owned Creative MP3 and Media Players for many years and when I needed more space last year, I got my first Zune (120GB) and I couldn't be happier.

Not that I use it, but you can't beat the Zune Pass. iPod has nothing like it. With Zune Pass for $15/month:

As long as your Zune Pass subscription is valid, you can:

* Download an unlimited number of songs on up to three computers.
* Play the songs an unlimited number of times.
* Sync the downloaded songs an unlimited number of times with up to three Zune players (e.g., friends or family).
* Keep 10 songs every month for your permanent collection.

Sorry but I have to agree. My family calls me frequently asking me questions about the iPod sync'ing interface with iTunes. I've owned many creative players as well as the Old School Diamond R300 and just think that iPod's sell so much because of the hype.

But hey. Everyone has their own opinion with what UI is the best for THEM.:teeth:

Naw! Just kidding....

You get a few people arguing with you, but 95% of the world would agree with the statement that there is no better system for music than an iPod and iTunes. I've had three or four brands now -- the absolute worst is Microsoft Zune, and the only one that came anywhere near the iPod was the Creative. I'd steer clear of the Zune. My guess is that in 2 years, Microsoft won't even be in that business.

I hope that was a sarcastic statement.

The big reason was iPods sell so well is A) it's in style to have one and "cool", especially for the younger people B) Apple was the first on the market with mp3 players.

Nothing can come close to the Apple iTouch! Thousands of Apps! WiFi, Check your mail ect.. And the iPhone.. Wow! Even Better!! iTouch RULEZ!!! :)

My son and I have had iPods since they hit the market but after freezing problems I traded up. I also like the FM tuner --- which iPod doesn't have!!

Sweet, I've walked into a Betamax vs. VHS conversation.
J/K. I own 2 Ipod players and admit to being frustrated at times when the device "freezes", and needs a manual reset. But the reset is simple, doesn't change what's currently loaded and takes only seconds.
My roommate owns a Zune player, and has nothing but great things to say about it.

You can't go wrong either way, IMHO.
