I don't know if any of you have seen the tease pieces they have been running for Anne Currie's interview with the mother of the octuplets that will be shown on the Today Show/Dateline this week but I am struck by the fact that this woman appears to be trying to make herself look like Angelina Jolie!!!

Please check this out when you see her and let me know if I have gone 'round the bend!! From the way she is wearing her hair to the rather unnatural looking lips right down the sandals she is wearing for the interview (photos of AJ during her visits to the orphanages always seemed to have her wearing something similiar) and the final nail being of course.....she now has fourteen children. But I tell you, it is going toveventually come out that she has some obsession with Mrs. Pitt!

She also claims to not be on welfare, but living off a settlement from an attack she suffered while working (wink wink) at a mental institution years ago. Now didn't Angelina Jolie star in a movie about a girl in a mental institution.........?!

It all just seems odd to me~and I haven't even heard the whole interview yet!
 
I want to know where's the father(s) of all these children?
 
Funny, because I too thought she resembled Angelina. Now her mother is talking and she is not happy with her daughter and wants to know how she plans on taking care of them because she "is tired of doing it" herself. More and more story keeps coming out daily.
 
In this case, I support prosecuting the Dr(s), who helped a mentally imbalanced person and endangering the kids.
 
The woman of the newborn octuplets also has 6 more kids at home and is a single mom.Ok now anyone who is in their right state of mind would ponder why in the @#$% would she go and take fertility pills when she cannot afford the babies she already has?My opinion is,and this is mine alone,is she thought if she brought these 8 babies into the world,diaper companies and baby formula companies and so forth would feel sorry for her and help her out.They aren't helping her out,which I find funny.But this is mrsk's opinion alone.It kind of annoys me to think of the other people,such as couples who cannot have children but would love a baby of their own and here she is with 8 plus the six at home.:rant:My husband and I have been wanting a child of our own and can't.I don't feel sorry for her at all.
 
wow - she does look like Angelina! I read she has had some plastic surgery on her face too. I agree people should be able to choose how many kids they have, but come on! Provide a stable home...provide your own money...and my gosh - go after the docs on this one. Is it common to plant 8 embryos (is that what was done? I haven't really looked at the story much)? That is insane. Why not do a few at a time, just in case they all do take???? It's a miracle she and all 8 survived. nuts!!!!!!!!!

**Alledgedly** She was implanted with (6) embryos and two of them split into twins= (8). That fact is causing quite a ruckus in the Medical Ethics community, as the common practice is to implant one to two healthy embryos at most when using that same fertility method.

I was just prompted to start the thread as I kept thinking I have been listneing and observing her for all of ten minutes and I am questioning her mental faculties~how did this slip past a physician?!! :eek:

they allow up to 3 embryos, but still wow 14 kids all under 7 i think they said.... i dont see how she can do it or would want to do that on her own .. she said I paid for them and I wanted them all (or something like that) ok I have 3 and without my husband I would go crazy.... 14 single mom... her own choice.... yea ummm ok.....
 
Wonder why the father isn't marrying her???

If he was a paid sperm donor or did it as a 'favor'....why would he want to marry her? :noidea:

Besides, if he wanted to marry her, he should have done so whether there were kids or not.....obviously, he doesn't to and why would if be good for children to have a 'father' who doesn't want to be there.....this is solely all on this woman.....:yesnod:

Angela Suleman said Nadya's boyfriend was the biological father of all 14 children, but that she refused to marry him.

"He was in love with her and wanted to marry her," she said. "But Nadya wanted to have children on her own."

sad to say in live in california and now guess who is going to pay for her (whatever you want to call them), sorry about that. it is the kids i feel sorry for.

Yes, she said that she made sure that he did not have any rights to the kids before doing this.

I like her sunny approach & how everything is going to be just fine. lol
