"Monopoly" is changing with the times.

The maker of the longtime board game will release a "Here and Now" edition this fall.

National landmarks will replace Atlantic City stops. Airports will replace railroads.

Fans can vote on what they want on the board. See the link below to vote.

Thanks Spaz. I casted my vote.

I was wondering if i could put the 22 U.S. ports as properties. I would call it, " Own America's Ports". I bet the middle east would love that game. Anyway, i voted for the most sought after home in America.

I think the new Monopoly board will be lined with baseball fields. Right now, they are all in the lead in their respective cities.

There are some really great places on there! I am sad to say though that many "local wonders" will not get voted on because people have never seen them. For example, I went to Atlanta this past summer. I would never have voted for Stone Mountain because without experiencing it and understanding its history, its just another mountain. Also, in Seattle, unless you've been to Pike Place, you don't get the feel for the guys throwing those huge fish.

I would have liked to see Williamsburg or Jamestown included, but I don't think they were large enough cities!

Thanks for posting! I was glad to be able to take part. :claps:
