My family and I are going to be relocating soon and are looking for the best deal on a moving truck for a one way move. Does anyone know of any coupons or discounts out there on moving trucks? Uhaul, Penske, Budget or any other company?

I guess no one had any insight. I just wanted to update since we booked w/out a discount already. The only discount I could find was for Budget in the change of address packet from the post office but it was still more expensive than uhaul.

I had gotten several bids from local moving companies and all were quite expensive. A my friend are maxonmove since they had recently moved and had been quite satisfied with them. I received a lower quote than any of the other moving companies. I was skeptical and called several times to clarify.

This may take some work, but it's worked for me in the past. If you call UHaul to get a quote and then tell them you got a better price somewhere else, they'll try to beat it. You can then call Ryder or whatever other company and tell them UHauls price after you get a quote, and they'll go lower as well. The same is true of actual moving companies.
