Can I get the power to Smite people? Pretty PLEASE! Just so I can smack the spammers (we had 3 different names just today) off the face of the earth. Mini-mod powers maybe? :D

All taken care of, all we can do is ban them and their IP#. But most of the IP# are just spoofs and are not real. :banghead:

Is there any way to have the forum coded so that postings with certain keywords will be rejected?

Actually there is and we have words rejected, but people find out ways to bypass all of that. We have a nice long running list of IP #'s, keywords and user names that are rejected and/or banned.

Most of the freewhatever.com crap is keyword banned, that is why most people who post that crap, tell you to remove something from the url. That way it does not show up as ********.com

I just saw on another forum where some user's few posts get moderated. I'll go hunting for that feature and also see what other options there are other than having an army of mods to kick spammers out. Thanks ksocia. :)
