my birthday

it's my birthday today. you know how people always try to get birthday freebies? well, i got a few from all those spam mail lists:

• pasta pomodoro - free dessert or appetizer (not a great deal; i think they used to give out a free entrée, which makes more sense)
• sweet tomtaoes: bogo w/ 2 beveragtes (not really a b.day deal since they send me those coupons almost every week.)
• daphne's greek - bogo entrée (not bad)
• red robin - (i hear this is the best deal these days) free burger (any burger) of your choice, no purchase required!!! (they also gave me a free b.day sundae!)

for dinner, i'm going out with some friends to a local ethiopian restaurant. i dunno if they do b.day freebies there, but i hope to have good food and at least good company.

thanks for the b.day wishes! yup, i had a great b.day. dinner at the ethiopian restaurant was great. many of the freebie deals are valid until one week after my actual birthday, so that's cool.
