Well, after going to my local BestBuy I found out that they had those verbatim disks for $27.99....too bad...those of you who got it fot $4.00 are very lucky :mad:

dude, you don't need to wait. just get the IDE to USB2 adapter (just the gut, no case) and you're set. i have one to do quick swaps between a few HDDs i have. works great! ~$15-20.
can't say about burns though since i just hooked my burner up (via usb2) and bought some dvdr's. however, did watched spiderman 2; ran great without a hiccup. :D

me too; just got back. they scanned at $30. but saw the 50 16x memorex for 1/2 off instant rebate and bought them for $20. my 1st dvdr's so i'm hoping they're ok since it's name brand.... :o

ROFL! Yes, price is even higher now. LOL I'm sorry to laugh, but it is halarious, they seem to change price on this thing hourly. Every time I look, however, it's low again!
