on a PC, couldn't you also just open your paint program (start>all programs>accessories>paint), and paste (control + v) the screenshot?

Where do I find 'desktop'? Start menu???? I need to be spoon fed on this one! Thanks.
Thanks. I'm spastic with some computer issues! I appreciate it! Thanks again!ksocia said:Sorry for the confusion, it's a little late now since you got it done, but to answer the questions:
-Yes, I'm using a desktop computer.
-When I said "Your Desktop" I meant the screen you see with all the windows closed (where you background image and the icons are). The right click-->New Image is a shortcut to opening whatever paint/image program you use.
ok, i did that earlier, but didn't see a "new image" shortcut.ksocia said:-When I said "Your Desktop" I meant the screen you see with all the windows closed (where you background image and the icons are). The right click-->New Image is a shortcut to opening whatever paint/image program you use.

precocious said:That wouldn't work. There's too much white-out on the screen.

when i right-click on my desktop and select "new", i did see "bitmap image" and i guess that's maybe similar to "new image"?
