Anyone here subscribe to Netflix? I am thinking of joining and am wondering about the quality of service.

I was subscribed to Real on Starz and canceled because the title selection stinks.

Do any of you have any feedback on Netflix?

:bigok: :thumbs_do ???

i signed up for it and used it a lot for about 2 months. after that, it's just been sucking my money.. i swear one of these days i'll get around to watching the movies i have- but they've been sitting here for over a month.
for me, personally, it would be cheaper to just rent em at the video store. the service is good, though, and the turnaround time is great. plus they'll email you and let you know what's coming in the mail, so you can be watching and waiting for it.

same here, their local wrehouse is about 75 miles from here, so the turnaround time is awesome, and their selection is awesome too

Blockbuster.com is a lot better...you get two free in-store movie rentals each month too. Plus they are as fast as Netflix (at least where we live). Give them a try... :D

We found Netflix was great. We rented 20+ movies a month in the beginning. But we had to cancel it since we couldn't find time to watch any. They carry almost all we wanted and even some more. One minor thing I didn't quite like is their search and navigation. But availability, turnaround time, billing, all are excellent. When disc was damaged, it was replaced promptly, no question asked... Highly recommended, in my opinion. :bigok: :bigok:

Although the movies aren't AS current, I enjoy my HBO on Demand via Comcast which has 30-50 titles for free available at a time.

Or, new movies are around $3.99. Still a good deal if you don't watch 15 movies a month.

I started using netflix, and i am enjoying it. They give you a free 2 week trial, so try it out.

Blockbuster is better if they have a shipping center near where you live as mentioned before you can get in-store rental printout coupons free. personally though, i tried both out and netflix has incredibly fast shipping. whereas blockbuster it took 3-4 days to arrive.

Also though, I tried out blockbuster's service when they first started, so maybe they have improved since then.

Netflix 10/10 Blockbuster 8/10 =]

Wow, thanks for the advise! Seems like both Blockbuster and Netflix have OK services. Not sure which one I will try. Probably Netflix since you get to have 2 out at a time for the $10 instead of 1 out with Blockbuster.

Thanks Guys!

No it is 10 bucks for only one. I think you can pay 12.99 for 2 at a time, but there is a limit of 4 per month. then for 14.99 you can get 2 at a time unlimited.

They hould have free trials try both & see which one works best for you.

Lots of people say they get them real fast at the start & then later they slow things up.

I am guessing that netflix is real close to me, i sent a movie back yesterday (mail came around 3:00 p.m) and I received an email this morning before 9:00 a.m. saying that they have received the dvd and another is being shipped out today. Pretty good if you ask me.
