New Feature, Introduce Yourself (Photo Posting) - More Fun on The Forums

Introduce Yourself

Users can now post pictures and a description about themselves to get to know eachother at a different level. Give it a shot and let me know if you guys have any issues.

This idea was suggested by Choochoojr.
Thanks Magnus for the original vbGarage code.
 
Also please keep this on topic, post pictures of yourself or pictures you took. This is meant to be a place to introduce yourself to other members, so we can all know a little more about each other here.

Do not post pictures you find from the internet or pornography.

Well, I guess if you have clothes on and you cannot see the computer screen with porn on it in the photo, I would not have any trouble with that. :claps:

I personally haven't had the time to upload anything, and another thing that may make it easy to overlook is that it's down at the bottom where the deal's are not... so the only people looking down there are mods, hard core spoofsters, and people who need general discussion help. Also there are no postings in the preview 'last post' pane, so it looks empty. I thought that it was empty for about 2 weeks before I clicked on it and saw there were lots of posts (kinda).

May do something about this soon after the logo contest is completely done.

What a great feature Spoofee... this is such a friendly community, and this helps people get to know each other even more. I had a lot of fun looking through the albums and adding mine :)

Spoofee, is there any way to link a user's profile to the "Introduce Yourself" page when they have entries there? :D (Meaning, you click a user's avatar or name to go to their profile page, and then have a link from there...)
 
maybe there should be a profile of the month or something to get this going, they don't need to win or anything but just to get people excited about it. comments?
 
It says I do not have permission to make a photo album. Why not??

What happens when you click on the "Start / Edit Your Photo Album" link when you go here?

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

OK, what about this, when you click on "user CP" on the top left, look under "Control Panel - Settings & Options ". does it say "edit photo(s)" (4th option down)?
