Roomba rules!! I'm on my third one. I love them but their life span is about a year of heavy use so get an extended warenty or buy it at a store where you can return it after a long while. I got mine at Bed Bath Beyond. When it breaks I take it back and they have me pull a new one off the shelf and go home no questions asked.

See my post above. They work great! If you have hard wood floors or tiles and a dog , you really need this. It works on short carpet too.

I LOVE Roomba!!

For those thinking of buying one - we LOVE ours - use it all the time. My uncle wasn't a believer - he watching the thing clean my porch for an hour and was sold afterwards as it got every crumb in every corner! It frees up so much time.
