Anyone make any?

I think I've just decided that my New Year's Resolution will be to give up watching Court TV and Fox News over the course of the day. I initially started my addiction to the two because I was at home with a baby and needed mental stimulation. However, now I think the negative vibe of the news and the coverage of criminal trials is starting to get to me. So I'm going to surround myself with more positive images (and Barney doesn't count ;))!

no resolutions for me. but my goal this year is to qualify for the boston marathon- that's doing the 26.2 miles in 3:40:59 or less!

tigger, you don't have to give up fox news! giving up court tv would be ok... just don't start watching lifetime (i think that's the channel with a baby story)... otherwise you'll be needing mental stimulation all over again :p
(whenever i watch that show i always want another baby!)

Hmm... I think I've always been kinda out of shape all my life.
I would like to make my flimsy 175lbs to 200lbs of muscle. :p

Court TV & Fox news provide mental stimulation? You need to get out more :-)

One day looks the same as the previous day to me, same as years. One day at a time.

Actually "A Baby Story" is on TLC (The Learning Channel) ;)

thanks for the correction, but i definitely won't investigate it further, as I really don't want to be watching it (todd doesn't want me to either!! lol)... but it's still good advice not to watch lifetime either LOL

Yep. I agree. Can you let my husband know ?:D

And ClubChick.. no babystory for me! I bawl like a hormonal wreck when I watch things like that! Same thing with the show with Ty where they build houses or even Antiques Roadshow when someone has something that's worth a bunch. I am such a sucker for those!

You've mentioned that before... have you checked out SparkPeople yet? They do fitness training stuff too on the program. They have this nifty page where you can click on a human body and they will recommend exercises to strengthen that area. (The link is http://www.sparkpeople.com/resource/exercise_selector.asp , but I don't know if you have to register to be able to get there...)

FYI antiques roadshow is on PBS, people take antiques to a convention-like thing, where appraisers appriase antiques usually for more than their worth, so people can go resell them elswhere or trade them

I don't like antique road show. It just seems like a whole bunch of hillbilly pilferers running through grandma's attic looking for cash. If grandma heard of your selling her possessions so flippantly, you'd put her in her grave if she weren't spinning in it already. Greed..... :(

P.S. It's different than an appraisal!

I know if I did that, my grandma would come back to life and strangle me
