I don't know if I would be too keen on using something with 110 volts built into a usb hub. I'd be afraid one of the kids would spill somethiing in it or it would suffer a fault and short out. Convenient, yes....good idea...well lets say probably better to keep your hubs and power strips seperate.

I have one of these and it works great. I don't even use the power strip portion of it as I only wanted it for the USB hub. No problems running my camera, MP3 player and GBA through this.
