Norton SystemWorks available for free

This is beta software. Norton is notorious for their extremely bloated and SLOW software.

From Symantec's Web site:

* Protects against viruses, spyware, and other threats
* Undoes system crashes, failed software installations, user errors, and more
* Optimizes performance and fixes many PC problems
* Removes Internet clutter and unwanted cookies

Is it worth it? Not in my opinion. First, it is beta software, meaning that it will only work for a limited time and then you have to purchase it. Second, Norton slows down your computer like nothing else. Unless you've got a REALLY fast computer and feel like you can be a guinea pig for Norton, I wouldn't bother.

That is because you are loading an executable file on your computer, the one that installs the beta software. You'll get a security pop up every time you try to download a file, whether it is safe or not. There is no virus in the file. I ran an anti-virus for you on it.
