I noticed at the very bottom an e-mail which goes to live.com. Looks like they set up this e-mail just for this promo, which is apparently not a Nikon promo. I signed up anyway, but not sure if anyone will get this. Anyone who has more experience have any thoughts on this?

I deleted this site from another member yesterday. I find the WhoIs information suspicious too for several reasons:
1. The site was created 1/29/2008. Not all sites that are recent are malicious, however, that does raise one red flag.
2. The site owner information is anonymous. That is the second red flag since the owner information Nikon.com shows Nikon Corporation with a valid phone number.
3. I am also hazarding a guess that Nikon.com would use REGISTER.COM instead of Tucows since that is their existing registrar.
 
It didn't say the site was created 1/29. It said the info was updated 1/29.

But, yeah, based on the existing Nikon.com info, that does seem odd. I wonder if Nikon is aware that someone is using their trademarked name?

It was both created and updated 1/29. I am glad I take a few days to create quality Web sites and not slap it together in one day.
