Office 2007 Beta 2

Couldn't seem to get it to download, i skip the survey page and it just sends me to a different page.

Is this only for Overseas customers?

Argh crap, I was using Safari, that's why.

When I copied the source coding into dreamweaver then I saw the $9 charge.

Actually its not free to the US too. So just download it. HAha

Microsoft is really wonderful. I am downloading their beta files now with Download accelerator, and the total speed is only 14kbs?!?!? I'm using a 6500kbs Broadband connection!
When I download my apple updating software with the download accelerator I can hit 500kbs!!

Ok my bad, I stopped all the rest of the files except one and it shot to 750kbs. Thats really fast! haha

I signed up for the free beta a while back - and got the email today - it is really free and I have been playing with it a bit and it is a fantastic suite of software - I love it and am hooked - only problem is that it did not delete the trial version - so I did and nothing would work until I repaired it...

recommend you download this one - it should not ask for a credit card though - it did not here so no idea why they asked you for one
 
i think it asked for a credit card number because maybe he clicked the link to have it sent instead of the link to download it?
 
oh yup - it did say something about you may be charged if you ask for a CD - I just hit the download link

Yeah. its not free for the DVD,

So I downloaded them.

BTW, if you guys are thinking of downloading this you might want to consider using programme like Download Accelerator Plus. It's totally free and works by splitting the file into 5 parts and downloads as if it were 5 users from the server.

Result > Super fast downloads from websites (for big files)
Also it enables you to resume incase anything happens.
