It is. I called my local Office Max and first the idiot that worked there gave me the wrong info, but then I got a price check and they confirmed $14.99.

Yep, I just went into Office Max and got them. On the shelves the price tag still says $30 or something but once they scan it in, it shows up as 14.99 :bigok:

Best Buy also has DVD+/-R dvds on sale. They have Memorex 16x DVD+/-R dvds on sale for $14.99 - It may be just this week (Jan 8-14), but some may find it easier to make a trip there or not have an Office Max nearby.

point well made for people who's got best buy near by and not officemax at all.....

for the same price, go with verbatim. well known for their higher, longer shelf-life quality.

don't get me wrong about memorexes, i'm using them as well since i got them cheap. haven't burned a coaster yet (after ~25). plays great and sharp on my samsung DVD player, but didn't play at my friend's. not sure where the fault is....

point is, dollar for dollar, verbatim :bigok: over memorex.
