A rebate form ask for a copy of your sales receipt.

Is it wise to send a rebate receipt instead of a copy of the sales receipt?

Office Max gives rebate receipts. So, I want to use it, instead of my original receipt which is long and hard to copy.

I would think it would be okay, because the rebate receipt would seem more original/authentic than a copy of the orignal sales receipt.

Usually it is OK to send the "rebate receipt".

thats why the rebate reciepts are printed, so you can keep the original

The rebate receipt works fine, but I would advise making a copy (copy, scan it, whatever) to retain for your records before mailing it off.

When you buy something from just about any store you canask them to print out a copy of the receipt.
