? on tv tuner for computer

Has anyone on here tried or used a tv tuner like the one posted on the home page? I have been wanting to get one and although I was excited to see one posted I would much rather hear from someone who's had experience with this before making a purchase.
 
i have a vstream kworld tv tuner. it comes with a remote and is decent just to watch tv. I cannot get the audio to work though so i just directly plaug the tv tuner to my audio system.

Overall its decent.
 
I have one, but I don't use too much. I prefer my couch and or bed. Using it to record shows isn't that practical either since I have a Tivo on all of my tv's. But they come in handy every now and then.
 
I've got one and it was nice to have when my computer was in a different room from my TV/entertainment system. Haven't recorded anything on it since I have a DVR as well. It's a neat toy for under $25, but I can't see paying more for it unless you're looking to turn the computer into a TIVO/DVR.

Yes I would like to use it as tivo/dvr set up as schedules are getting hectic and then when I have time for some viewing (nine times out of ten) someone else is watching the tv.

And no, hiding the remote don't work with them. Last time I did it, the hubby ordered a new one.
