I'm looking for a good deal on PC3200 Dual Channel DDR400, 2 256Mb chips would be good. Trying for less the $100....

well, nevermind, I got some off of www.gameve.com for $124 /w free shipping, seems like an okay deal....

So what's the difference between Dual and Standard?!

That GeIL 512 MB PC-3200 for $84 with free shippping looks REALLY good...

I need and up on my comp... but no time soon, it's good enough already! :D

actually, I'm not entirely sure. I do know that its faster though. It has somwthing to do with the module being identicle to each other. I just ordered a new motherboard and it supports it, so i figured I'd go the extra mile and get the good stuff :D

Yeah but everything costs so much now, just last month 512 MB PC-2100 Standard 64x64 low module pin DDRAM cost $200+ I mean this stuff is crazy...

Then right when the RAM, especially RAM, gets cheaper, new technology comes out. Watch, next they're going to have...

QDR... Quadruple Data Rate over DDR... Double Data Rate... I mean the advancement on RAM is ridiculous!!! And also VGAs, SO DAMNED MUCH!

My friend told me that DUals are faster than Rambus because they work with each other to provide super... super speed or something and memory!
