Staples has a new version of Peachtree Accounting 2006 out. As usual, free after rebate.

1. Go to ebay and search/buy a Staples $30 off $150 coupon.
2. Peachtree Price : $164.94
3. Apply coupon from eBay ( Another $30 off )
4. Rebate Price : -$165.00
Final Price : Free + Make $30

Where is the rebate for it? I looked at the Staples site but no link provided. Tried using their Rebates Center and got this message LOL:
The browser you are using is not supported by the Staples Easy Rebates website. Please update your browser or use a different one.
Tried it with Internet Explorer and Opera browsers...both no go :(

I was able to pricematch this to Geminicomputers.com for $125.50 and got
$45 credited back to my card.

If you sell it online your total profit should be over $100. :)

It's not an Easyrebate, it must be mailed in. On their main page
at the bottom left side go to rebate center. Then search for rebates
using: Best Software.

ebay coupon

where is the ebay coupon?
I don't find it anywhere!! Thanks.

Thanks for the reply...

Yeah, I know it's a mail in rebate. Can't get to the Rebate Center for some reason though :( Keep getting that error about a bad/unsupported browser.

You PMed at Staples in-store?

Sand, how'd you get the pricematch? their policy says they don't match websites?
I' d like to make a hundred bucks, too.

I don't have a staples near me, so it would all be online.

It was easy, and they do pricematch online sites, I've done this for several years, you wouldn't believe some of the deals. Here's how the $100 profit breaks down:

$165 Peachtree
-30 30 off 150 ebay coupon
-165 Rebate
-45 Pricematch
-4 Cashback from another website
-35 approx. price at auction

= $114 profit

Taken from Staples price-matching policy:
We don’t match our store prices to those on other companies’ web sites.
http://www.staples.com/sbd/content/help/using/general_match.html

How "easy" are we talking about here? Your "easy" may not be easy for me. If it involves trying to call repeated times until you find someone who will let you do it, it's not easy in my definition...

it is there now :)

it's rebate # 05-38464. you can click here and enter that rebate # in the box next to where it says
4) Search by rebate number:

WARNING- If you do this rebate don't forget to register it
and include your Serial # from the software. The rebate
form does not ask you to include this #. I just write it in an
open area in highlighted color so they don't miss it. Works
everytime.

They love to reject your rebate if you don't and just
means additional months delay for your money.
