I'd like your moral/ethical opinion on this::convinced:

Say you're mailing a letter or freebies to a fellow Spoofer (like me for example! :p ) and you put MY address in the senders spot (top left corner) and put YOUR address in the addressee's spot and just FORGET to put a stamp on it :doh:, hoping that USPS will deliver it to me without postage ---- I wonder f you can go to Federal Prison for a .42 cent theft???
Hey with the rising cost of postage - an Holiday Card Season approaching - we could all use a few cents in our pockets, right? Would you do it?

BTW, just in case you wanna try it by sending me some freebies, PM me and I'll send my addy...:teeth:

Chances are your postal carrier will not take the letter. It will be left in your mailbox with a note telling you to add postage.

What if you put it in a drop box?

How confused would they be if the return address was from another city or state?

Would they think "Hmm...it made it this far, might as well deliver it?"

:convinced:

I'm thinking that your bests odds of getting it to your intended destination is to drive to the intended destination's post office and drop it in that drop box. :hmmmm2: Or....just steam stamps.

"Or....just steam stamps"

:doh: Good idea! really never thought about it, but a lot of the letters I get do not have cancelled stamps! .......

Why not just use some email system for free electronic cards and save stamps and time?:noidea: Oh wait, did I just answer two philosophical questions on one thread?! :hmmmm2:

I have always had "insufficient postage" envelopes come back (I think). Most of the time I over-postage something to make sure it gets to it's destination and not back to me.

Why don't you do a "scientific" experiment and try it? Send a letter to a relative or someone you talk to and see if it gets to them. Maybe you could even get a grant to do it:sus: I think you would have to put something in the upper right or it would be noticed even by the postal robots (mechanical and human).
