I need votes.... the girl taking the picture was in a big hurry... and her picture is not great... Her wig is covering up her face paint that I worked really hard on... :(

Thanks for the votes... we did get 77 votes... came in 5th. We didn't win anything... but considering this was the worste picture Johanna has ever been in I'm very grateful for the votes I got. I did post a note on my FB page that I think we would have done better if the person taking the pictures actually knew how to use the camera.... so tonight I got "The cold Shoulder".... I mean really what is the sense of entering a "photo" contest if your child has the worst picture on the page? Big waste of my time...
the other pictures must have been taken by a different employee. They were clear and some were even cropped. Just venting here... but they emailed me all week asking parents to bring their kids in,,,, then when I got there the person taking the pictures didn't know how to use the camera, and was really too busy to give a flip... and I don't think I'm the only person around that does not like for my time to be wasted.
 
Snibble, first off, I like you and I think your little girl is "oh, so gorgeous"!

I did not vote because #1, I use a screen name and not my real name for a reason. Facebook votes does not protect that.

I also would not take 'losing' to heart because the votes were not based on how well the picture was taken nor how pretty and talented your child was. It was how many people could a parent/person get to vote for whatever cause. Totally non-reflective of why one should be voting.

So please do not be disheartened that your daughter did not 'win'. She is a 'winner' because she belongs to you and is the apple of your eye, not to mention a cutie pie as well! The other mothers may have been one of 18 siblings with 133 nephews and nieces being married to one of 18 with 350 nieces and nephews belonging to 3000 message boards......having nothing to do with an opinion of who really deserves to receive whatever.
 
It may not help this contest, but i wrote her name in (instead of the two knuckleheads on the ballot) when i voted tonight.

Not like me at all to rant and rave.... I've been sick for 2 days. Guess the fever got to me.
