Popup Blockers

Hey everyone,

I saw on the main page the list of popup blockers. I though I would also let everyone know that you can get the google bar for IE and it also included a free popup blocker. In addition the popup blocker you can search google from the toolbar and a lot of other cool things. Best of all it's free and does not send any info to Google or such unless you choose that option. Go to http://toolbar.google.com/ to get more info and all the requirements for it.

For a long time I used Popup Stopper and it's also a great program, but I hated having take up space in my task bar. I then found the google popup stopper and it does exactly the same thing, takes up less space and gives me more functionality.

If you already have the google bar and it does not have the popup blocker yet click and get options for the toolbar. You will get a message that it has been updated w/ the popup blocker feature plus a few others.

You can make the stuff on the taskbar hide so it don't take up space.

I can personally attest to the usefulness of the Google toolbar. I use it all the time to do quick searches, and it has a bunch of really good mini-progs. The pop-up blocker, as well as the instant translate-a-page, is a nice touch.
