Anyone else not able to access their website? I thought it was just an error yesterday, but this is the second day in the row this has happened. Anyone else have this problem?
 
Im not sure about demanoid, but I cant access demonoid.com. :p

The Demonoid site is supposedly down for maintenance as of
2.30am Tuesday, September 25, 2007 (West Coast U.S time)

This is according to the Demonoid Channel on IRC:

Navigating to the Demonoid web site just brings up a blank page
instead of their "site offline for maintenance" announcement
that is normally displayed during this time.

However if you look here it states that Demonoid site may have
been shut down:

i heard it was shut down by the CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association)
 
Yeah, thats what torrent freak is reporting, but its unconfirmed. Even the guys who work under the admin dont know whats going on (or arent telling). From what I understand the CRIA cant shut down servers in Canada. Its just the Canadian presence of the RIAA - from what I read elsewhere. From the CRIA info page it appears that would be wrong.. I suppose they could put pressure on the Canadian govt to do something either way though. It wouldnt surprise me, either. After the seizure of the marijuana growing websites in Canada I suppose this is a possibility too. Sucks though, because these guys arent distributing pirated material.

The two last links in my quoted material are very informative, but still inconclusive.
