oh man i just went jumping up and down on Thanksgiving day! Thank youuuuuu

my girlfriend has been asking for house dvd's for the longest time. I was about to buy it at target, but seeing a box set for $40-$60 breaks my heart. Cant beat $13.99

i am a loyal simpsons fan, but was a broke student before. I immediately bought seasons 1-10 just now. Time to catch up on all the commentary my sister talks about.

I live in NY and don't recall every paying sales tax on Amazon.com purchases. However, when I add the DVDs to my cart, sales tax shows up? Did Amazon just change its policy?

Edit: Just saw this on their website. "Items sold by Amazon.com LLC, or its subsidiaries, and shipped to destinations in the states of Kansas, Kentucky, New York, North Dakota, or Washington are subject to tax." Was this a pretty recent change?
