i tried to upload a video i made of Keara eating on putfile. It saved as a quicktime thing. It says it uploaded but for some reason when I try to view it nothing happens. Is it just me or can you not see it either? If anyone is fimiliar with this file uploading site and thinks they know whats wrong, please reply!! Thanks sooo much!

I want to be nice, politically correct and all, but does HE know how gay he is??? Not that there's anything wrong with that, just....well...you know....I don't think HE knows he's gay.....and that's okay. Don't you just love adolescence????
 
do any of you guys know how I could change my video so it will play on media player instead of quicktime? I tried changing the extention of the saved file but it says error. Is there a way to make it work?

I think when you go to open the file you alternate click on the file, select "open with" and select Windows Media Player

Sorry to say, but this won't work. Quicktime has a copyrighted movie file that no one else is supposed to be able to open. My question for you is how did you originally get the video into quick time? Did you use adigital camera and that's how it saved it, or did you use some other encoder (i appoloize if thats a big word...) to save it? If it's youre camera, there might be a couple converters out there somewhere that can crack open the quicktime and make it into a Windows Media File. If you ahve any control over how else to encode it, just sstart over and do it with something other than quicktime. You might just try uploading the file again. Espescially if the copy you have on your hard drive works.

My digital camera automatically saved it as a quicktime file. When I hook the camera to the computer a box pops up with options of where to open my pictures. Doesn't mention videos and i don't think I have anyway of changing the file type before it is saved.

then just try uploading it again. I imagine the video works when you try and watch it on your computer right. Not when you try and open it from the internet, but the copy you have saved on your computer.
 
yes i can view it from my computer. I can upload it to putfile fine but when you ckick on it's link to view it there I can't see it. I have noticed many people have theres playing in media player. thats why i would like to figure out how to change it for next time.
