what's the storage use for spoofee

I am planning to start a discussion group, I swear, it is not another deal forum.

But I know nothing about it, As a free software foot solidier, I am planning to use a GPLed stuffs.

I have a domain name, now I need to find out a host. most probably go with phpBB for forum software

any advice

This site eats over 100gb in bandwidth every month, storage is less than 300mb even with all the images.

For forum software, you should also look into invision board. They are free and works great! Good luck with everything.

Man, 100GB is a lot of bandwidth, was it like this from the beginning ?

I saw a webhosting company, gives phpbb2+mysql+30GB bandwidth for $100/yr

Is there anything u recommend abt Invision board ?

At the beginning, 10gb bandwidth was good enough for the first half year. .

The webhosting company sounds like a great deal. Make sure you check or search on http://www.webhostingtalk.com to see what people's experience has been with that company. Some web hosting companies has been a nightmare.

I never got to use phpBB2. I can't pick out specific examples, but I've installed some invisionboard instances for my buddies and it has worked out great. Default skin looked much better and many admin tools seemed more easier to use. phpBB, I remember didn't have much support as invisionboard, but was more customizable... once again, I'm not sure if this is still the case after phpBB2 was released.
