Radio Shack - Logitech MX610 Cordless Mouse for $9.99 After Rebate

I have this mouse. I like it, but it does not have a docking station and uses normal AA batteries. For this price it's nice, it uses a laser and tracks better then my optical mice. The IM/E-mail button's don't work well but the volume control does work, even without Logitech's software installed.
 
How loud do the buttons click? I have a cheaper Logitech model that can be used on any surface, is this model the same way?

I bought one today-- great mouse. feels good in the hand, lots of extra features. It worked as soon as I plugged it in.

BUT when I installed the accompanying software, it froze until I removed the software.
running great again, now.

hey, i was wondering if you guys know a lot about logitech rebate. My question is that i purchased a logitech mouse 6 months ago, different model @ different store w/ different rebate amount. Now that i purchased this mouse, will i be able to qualify to receive the rebate, since it says 1 rebate per household. I went to logitech.rebatestatus.com, and my info of the old rebate is still on there. Give me a feedback will ya, thanks.
