Rebate problems....

Hey, I'm having a problem with the rebate for the 48X24X48 Khypermedia drive I bought about two weeks ago. I'm trying to get a hold of someone from parago over the phone, but I can't get anyone to pick up (it used to be that you just press * a couple of times...). Does anyone know who to call or what to press? I've had the same problem with them before...

I bought the same drive and my rebate status appears good:

I've bought 2 drives and sumbitted 2 rebates under different names/addresess. BOTH emails I got said both rebates are valid! heh heh heh... :twisted: cheated the system!

If you used 2 different names and address, how did you cheat the system?? Anyone can do that, I have done that before with no problems. :?

Actually, mine says I postmarked it on the wrong date... But I postmarked it on Saturday (I bought the drive on Sunday of the week before). Either way, even if it wasn't postmarked on Sat, it should have been on Sun...

Someone at FW posted this method recently where parago is concerned.



Call 1-877-580-3348
Press #3 at first memu for invalid post card or whatever
Then choose option #1 at the first menu
The next menu will say press 1 if your number is.....otherwise press 2
At this option simply hit 0 and then a voice will come on and say "for a detailed written response" etc and you stay on the line and eventually you will be connected to a rep


Don't recall their name, can't properly credit them, and, have not had to call them recently so this is untested by me but a few others reported it worked at the time.

Either way, even if it wasn't postmarked on Sat, it should have been on Sun...

They won't postmark it at the post office unless you ask them to, and they're closed on Sundays...

YES!!! Parago is the frekin best!!! The rep i got on the phone changed the rebate for me!!! Thanks for the info Cpaladin; actually what you have to do is after you hit 3, keep pressing * and it will connect you. I made a bad booboo though... I accdentally changed my reward from a $25 MIR to a MP3 player... Good or bad choice?
