How do these things work? My son got one for his birthday from my IL's and now I'm kinda worried Do you send it back to the company or will they replace those nails?

Just give Playschool a call at the number above and let them know you have a recalled toy and they should walk you through getting your rebate for a NEW TOY!:bigok:

My parents bought my daughter a plastic tool set at Big Lots, and it had nails and screws in it. I wonder if I can send the nails back to Hasbro and get $50.

Talkin' Tool Bench. We value you as our customer and appreciate your
talking the time to follow up on the recent announcement.

We will be sending you, via US mail, a postage paid label for use in
returning the two toy nails to us. We ask that you make every attempt to locate both toy nails so they are no longer accessible to your child.
We will also include a diagram which differentiates the nails from the
screws that came with your product. We will also enclose a padded
envelope to facilitate returning these two toy nails to us. For US
consumers, once we receive your two toy nails, please allow at least two weeks for delivery of your $50 certificate. Please note this certificate expires on 12/31/2007. For Canadian consumers, please allow a minimum of two weeks for shipment of your replacement item of equal value. Please note that we are not responsible for lost or misdirected mail.
