What about pressure treated wood? It has arsenic in it. That green tinge is the chemical bath. Also has a couple of other chemicals you don't want your kids around. They built a local playground with it.

Actually, theres new pressure treated wood that is arsenic free. Its been around for a while now. I used it to build an outdoor enclosure for a big lizard.
